Highbury Hall is a magnificent Arts and Crafts house built by Joseph Chamberlain in the 1870s and the childhood home of Neville, later Prime Minister. Prior to practising a range of woodland crafts (building a camp fire, whittling. ropework, foraging, etc) we hope to be given a short tour of the building and learn of its connection to the popular board game Cluedo which was invented by local residents in 1943.
Please bring a packed lunch or something to cook over the fire.
There is ample parking and Kings Heath station is only 600m away.
Meet at 11:00am.
Please let Peter Wright know if you intend to come and he will provide directions 07717 563734 or peterwright180@btinternet.com
