Over two days, visit the Museum, with added attractions celebrating Coot Club and The Big Six – and Arthur Ransome himself. Visiting boats from Hunter’s Yard, including the Teasel and Titmouse will be on show. The opening speech will be given by TARS President John Sergeant (12 noon on Saturday)
The programme of ‘Ransome Extras’ is still being formulated but is likely to include additions such as talks, a treasure hunt and prizes for anyone arriving as a character from the books or in ‘period dress’
