Dogs Home

Swallows and Amazons App

Two worlds put together in one app now available from ART.

If you want to explore the world of Swallows and Amazons yourself then this is the App for you.

The App is available on both Apple and Google Play and is free to download.

Places in the books to Visit

Many of the places in the books can be explored. Become a member and come with us to visit them! In the meantime you can try and find them yourselves. The places in the Lake District are given new names, save one; can you work out which one?  There are books on sale which speculate where the Lake District places are.  The places in East Anglia and Holland are all real. The places in Western Scotland are real save Scrubbers Cove.

The Dogs’ Home is a favourite place for TARS to visit.  Look again at the video to see the Dogs’ Home; sadly the Forestry Commission have replaced the missing window!

East Anglia has three areas of interest:

The Broads and Lowestoft

Norfolk Broads August 2018. Wroxham, Herons, "Death & Glory".

The Death and Glory, used in the films, taken 2018 by Jon Ford
