This Grade 11* listed woollen textile mill is one of the oldest in the world and has been in continuous production since 1797. The 12 acre site has 10 acres of wetland with wildlife and millponds. There is a museum, cafe and shop, boilers, steam engines, and working and static exhibits. We are visiting on one of their Thursday production days.

The weather can be iffy in January and this can be cancelled at the last minute if necessary. Liz will provide a couple of main courses, one being vegetarian, and attendees will bring starters or desserts.
Numbers are limited and at present only 2 places are left, so if you would like to join us please let me know.
