Two red slippers and a wish is one in the Autumn and Winter series of talks and lectures being organised by the Museum of Lakeland Life in Kendal, Cumbria.
Dr Elizabeth Haworth, a national Trustee and Chair of the Northern Region of TARS, will give the talk, revealing the links of the
classic novel Swallows and Amazons to the Lake District.
The main talk takes place in the museum's Education Studio, with a further 10-15 minute summary and linking of the corresponding objects/area - in this case, the Ransome Room of the Museum - to the talk.
Admission Price is £6.50 and includes a cup of tea or coffee served from 1.30pm onwards. The talk itself starts at 2pm.
