Midland Region gets creative

Posted by Jane, Bobbie and James at 18:33 on Sun, Nov 20, 2011

A 'Titty Day' on 20 November saw us being set a variety of activities to encourage us to write creatively and members of all ages certainly rose to the challenge.  Some were even brave enough to read what they had written to the assembled company.  After lunch the Juniors had a further challenge - creating props and backdrops for We Didn't Mean To Go To Sea, which we then made use of to act out some of the scenes.

I am glad to hear about your activities, even though I think you are all pudding faces because I can't join in!

Sorry to be pudding faces!  We think that we have a big area to cover in Midland Region, but it's nothing compared to Australia.  It sounds as though you do manage to get up to some fun however and we have a connection as one of our Midland Region members visits his nephew and great nephew who are AusTars each year.

Sorry Adam, I'd scrolled through some old posts to try to check where you were from, but must have completely misinterpreted what I'd read!  Membership might be a bit thin on the ground in Canada, but you've got some great lakes.
