Mixed Moss
Appearing in October each year, the Society's flagship Literary Journal contains longer articles about Arthur Ransome's life and books, and the people, boats and places who inspired and informed his work. Articles range in length from 500 - 3,000 words.
From the Editor of Mixed Moss
Can you, will you, shall you, can’t you, please, write something for Mixed Moss 2012?
What we want to see in Mixed Moss 2012 is more articles written by TARS; 300 to 3000 words (300 is fine, really!):
-
about AR
-
or about AR’s Life
-
or about AR’s work
-
or about derivative work, such as the Edmundson and Hannon musical version of ‘Swallows and Amazons’.
Please send your words (with black-and-white illustrations if you have them) to Nicholas Hancox, Mixed Moss, 26A Church Road, Reedham, Norfolk, NR13 3TX or email them to mixedmoss@nicholashancox.co.uk. The deadline this year is 15 June 2012. Your contribution to our enjoyment of the Great Man and his Work will be greatly appreciated by TARS all around the World. Thank you.

Print: Please do not send anything you have copied from the Internet
or which you have seen published elsewhere, unless you tell the
Editor exactly where you found it. That is a copyright matter. And
no stories about how your Mummy used to read ARIAD to you in bed in
1955, either. That is a private matter. And never begin a sentence
with a conjunction.
