Life on the Cut
Ransome may never have written about canals, but growing up in Leeds he would certainly have watched and taken an interest in the boats working along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. This is a chance to learn about life on the cut by helping to work a narrow boat up through the flight of locks at Stoke Bruerne on the Northamptonshire section of the Grand Union Canal, then visiting the Canal Museum. To find out how to book see page 16 of Signals.
This is a Nautical event for those participating in the Junior Midland Log Book Scheme.
