Ransome to Feature in BBC's Flog it!

Flog it! is a daytime BBC series whose editions are filmed in different locations around the country. Each edition usually includes a short 8 minute documentary highlighting an interesting aspect of that edition's location. Flog it! usually enjoys an audience of around two million.

For their 8th series, Flog it! will visit Kendal, and the programme's documentary will focus on Arthur Ransome's links to the area. The transmission date is to be confirmed, but should be in the late summer or early autumn. Flog it! is usually shown twice on BBC2, after which it may be transmitted again on the BBC's digital channels. It is likely to be available to UK-based internet users on the BBC's iPlayer during the week after its initial transmission.
